JetBlue Park Boston Red Sox 2012 Spring Training Home #3

There were dark clouds over Fenway Park in Boston, MA on Thursday, September 29, 2011 and the same applied to JetBlue Park in Fort Myers, Fl. As Terry, Theo and the trio were discussing Francona’s future, contractors were feverishly working under threatening skies on the Boston Red Sox new Spring Training Facility scheduled for completion in mid January 2012.

This is my third blog on  JetBlue Park. My intent is to continue the reports and pictures until the finishing touches have been applied to the facility. Before you know it 11,000 members of Red Sox Nation will occupy every seat to watch the team and discuss the changes that were made. You can expect updates every 2-3 weeks as my schedule allows.

The only certainty at this time is Terry Francona won’t be in the opening day lineup to lead the 2012 version of the Boston team. What other changes will take place? Will Theo return? How about the starting pitching? Who would you like to see at shortstop? Will Kalish be in right field? Which players will not be returning? Any suggestions for Theo? You are welcome to post your comments as long as you keep them G rated and respectful.

In any event, I wanted to share these photos with you other Boston Red Sox fans interested in the new spring training site of our beloved team. This blog and others will contain pictures of the construction progress of the park many of you will soon be sitting in. Mid January is only 3 ½ months away. I’ll be there and hope you will be also!

Added October 12, 2011: Many of you have asked about the address of JetBlue Park,  the new  Red Sox Spring Training Ballpark,  it is located at 11581 Daniels  Parkway, Fort Myers,  FL 33913. The Complex is approximately two  miles east of Interstate 75  and approximately six miles from Southwest Florida International  Airport.

Just in case you are in the market for a second home, I’ve included links to four highly sought after Fort Myers, Florida communities that are located within minutes of JetBlue Park and offer outstanding amenities. You can view photos and read about them on my website by clicking the links below or you can contact me by clicking here. I will help you weigh the pro’s and con’s of each builder, discuss resale properties in each community or answer any real estate questions you may have. All have guarded entries, offer great rental opportunities and are about ten minutes away from the SW Florida Airport.
